Antonio Brown denies trolling Tom Brady
‘Valuetainment’ host Patrick Bet-David confronted Antonio Brown with some tough questions during his appearance on his podcast. And one of the questions was about AB’s recent social activity involving Tom Brady‘s wife, Gisele Bündchen. A rather uncomfortable Brown denied trolling Brady but ended up dropping a wild comment. “I’m not smashing his girl. What do you mean? It’s a t-shirt that raised money from a real moment that happened. How is this a reach?” Brown said.
He then went on to say that divorce was Brady’s personal life and he got nothing to do with it.“People go through a divorce every day. What about me? What about when I’m in the news and people say I’m crazy? It’s just a picture from the Super Bowl. His divorce is his personal life. I ain’t got nothing to do with that, bro,” he said.
Brown then complained that he was deeply misunderstood. He then asked Bet-David the way he could make him understand what he thinks.“A lot of the things I’ve said tonight, you guys are never going to understand. How am I going to make you understand if I’m telling you what I think, and you can sort out what I think? Just so you can marginalize what’s respect and what’s not?” Brown said.

Antonio Brown recently shared a tweet in which he appeared to take a dig at his former teammate and friend Tom Brady. Brown dropped some merchandise on Twitter featuring Brady’s wife. It was a t-shirt that had a photo of him and Bündchen hugging each other after the 2021 Super Bowl win. He also shared a tweet and said that the proceeds from the sales will go to “charities supporting America’s fatherless kids”.

Brown was severely criticized for the stunt. But then he actually donated to some charities. Still, the apparent dig was not lost on anyone. Brown last played in the NFL in January of 2022. In the third quarter of the week 17 game against the New York Jets, the wide receiver walked off without being benched and did not come back on again. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers terminated his contract a few days after that incident.
