Le’Veon Bell is grateful for playing with the Bucs

After making a short cameo in his debut for the Bucs, the veteran running back spoke about how grateful he was for being signed by the Bucs. He then added that he will need another week’s worth of practice to get back to his influential self.

“Just playing with these guys and getting comfortable with the guys around me, that’s the biggest part for me, and I think another week is going to be helpful for me,” said Bell.

Antonio Brown shocked the NFL world when he left the Bucs mid-way against the Jets. Bell and Brown have been mates for a long time and post-match, the former was asked on his views on the latter’s actions.

As expected, the running back didn’t speak out against his friend respecting the closeness between the duo. “He’s still one of my close friends,” said Bell. “Like you won’t hear me talking bad about AB at all. Obviously, I understand things happen, but he’s one of my closest friends that I’ve been around.”

The veteran player however did say that despite being a good human being, Brown was victim to some terrible decision-making from his end. “Close teammate, overall good person,” said the running back. “Obviously, some bad decision-making sometimes but you know, he’s human. He’s not perfect.”
