Prior to the start of the 2020 NFL season, veteran NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers was rumoured to be on his way towards an exit from Lambeau Field. But fast-forward to January 2021 and the Green Bay Packers great is currently having a season to remember. The Packers won the NFC North and secured the top seed to earn a bye in the first round of this year’s playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers, along with the likes of Davante Adams, Aaron Jones, Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have been impressive all season. But the 37-year-old QB is truly something else.

Rodgers has the most passing TDs (48) in the league against just 5 interceptions as we gear up for the NFL Playoffs. Will he win his third NFL MVP award this year?

Aaron Rodgers was at his destructive best once again in Week 17 as he wreaked havoc on NFC North rivals, Chicago Bears. He went 19 of 24, throwing for 240 yards with 4 passing TDs to end the regular season on a high. He is currently leading the mock polls for this year’s MVP award ahead of closest challengers, Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs) and Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks).

The Packers will welcome Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Ron Rivera-led Washington Football Team at Lambeau Field in the divisional playoffs. Coach Matt LaFleur is aware of what his team needs to do in order to win that elusive Lombardi Trophy in 2021.

But things will be different for Rodgers in post-season as critics will rightly point that he has flopped on this stage on multiple occasions in the past. There’s more to this story for sure so we’ll be keeping a close eye on this one.
