Tampa Bay Buccaneers saw one of the greatest players retire at the end of last season. In Tom Brady, they had the luxury of calling upon one of the best QBs the league and this country has ever seen. They fell short of their expectations last season as they bowed out at the wildcard playoffs. With Brady out of the roster, they have turned to Baker Mayfield to fill that gap and fill it fast.

Kyle Trask and Baker Mayfield are the primary contenders for the Quarterback spot at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Baker Mayfield and John Wolford have both joined the Bucs roster from Los Angeles Rams to contend with Kyle Trask. Coach Todd Bowles would not be too happy with what he saw in the training from his QB options, and the level of competition would quite obviously seem low. Dov Kleiman conveyed that Coach Bowles shared an equal number of reps between the QB competition for the Bucs.

Trask and Mayfield are letting errors seep in too frequently in their game, and this does not bode well for anyone. Their performance will draw criticism from the coach as well as the fans. The Bucs look forward to the season in which they will be without the legendary Tom Brady to rely on.
