The Lamar Jackson issue has hogged the limelight throughout the current offseason. The issue has been at a standstill ever since the QB asked for a trade away from the Ravens. But there finally could be some movement on the horizon. A new message from the QB at least hints at the possibility.
“I have a seed in the ground,” Jackson wrote in one of his Instagram stories.
So, has Jackson finally found a landing spot for himself? If that is the case, then where will he play next season? It also might be that the Ravens might have blinked and indicated a new deal that Jackson may like. Either way, the message from the QB has left more questions than the fans started their day with.

The Ravens and Lamar Jackson have been on the negotiation table since the end of the 2021 season. But both parties haven’t been able to chalk out an agreement to increase his stint with the franchise. Many reports suggest that Jackson wants a big chunk of his contract to be guaranteed money. However, the QB and the Ravens differ on the amount of guaranteed money.

According to reports, Jackson is looking for compensation at par with division rival Deshaun Watson. The Ravens did offer him a contract with a sizable amount of guaranteed money but the QB rejected the offer. And then, he dropped a bombshell by requesting a trade away from the franchise.
