The comments of Kanye West hurt the Donda brand
Kanye West lost his billionaire status due to Adidas canceling a one-and-a-half billion-dollar deal with the rapper. The sports apparel company did it due to the rapper’s recent comments involving the Jewish community. And now his Donda brand has taken a hit. The Donda Academy, a high school owned by Ye in southern California, saw its basketball team thrown out of a prestigious high school tourney.
The Scholastic Play-By-Play Classics announced that they are axing the Donda Doves from their tournament. The tourney said that the rapper’s “words and actions violate our values as a company and a country”. The decision to axe a basketball team due to comments by its backer has left the Twitter world divided. While some fans back the decision, others say the kids are being punished for no fault of their own.
This fan thinks the action is warranted.

The rapper spoke on the ‘Drink Champs’ show and said a number of things about the Jewish community, including comparing planned parenthood with the holocaust.
Antonio Brown led Donda Sports also takes a hit
Kanye West owns another branch of the Donda brand, a sports agency called Donda Sports. Ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown is the head of the Donda Sports agency. And the rapper’s comments have come to haunt them too.

Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald and NBA player Jaylen Brown have ended their association with the sports agency. The reigning Super Bowl champion, Donald released a statement with his wife, communicating the decision.
“Our family has made the decision to part ways with Donda Sports. The recent comments and displays of hate and anti-Semitism are the exact opposite of how we choose to live our lives and raise our children,” said the statement. Boston Celtics’ Brown also released a similar statement.
