It is common for some high-profile athletes to play golf during their offseason. Aaron Rodgers is no different. He has been practising his skills for almost 18 years and is setting himself up for a championship win. Moreover, he is spending time amongst the greatest golfers of this generation and hopes to learn from them. As a result, he got a nod of approval from one of the best female golfers, Annika Sorenstam.
Meeting at the American Century Championship in early July, both Rodgers and Sorenstam are competing against each other. The Championship saw participation from some of the most celebrated athletes in their respective sports. In addition, a few NFL and NBA players joined the game, hoping to have a wonderful time at the course.

Annika Sorenstam is a World Golf Hall of Famer participating in her third American Century Championship in 2022. Earlier, she played in the 2014 and 2021 editions. She was in contention to win the championship in 2021. However, Vinny Del Negro clinched the title after beating John Smoltz in the playoffs.
Moreover, the championship is witnessing three-time champion Mark Mulder and two-time champions Tony Romo and Mardy Fish. In addition, the ACC represents 17 Hall of Famers, 13 Most Valuable Player award-winners and multiple stars. Charles Barkley, Steph Curry, Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers are a few celebrated participants in the championship this year.
What makes Annika Sorenstam a Hall-of-Famer, and how is Aaron Rodgers perfecting his golfing skills?
Sorenstam won back-to-back US Women’s Open at 25 and another one in 2006. She has 72 LPGA victories in 307 career starts with a win percentage of 23.5%, the highest amongst the all-time greats. The duchess of dominance has 17 titles in Europe itself. In addition, she is the sole LPGA player ever to shoot a 59.

In a conversation with Pat McAfee, the Green Bay Packers‘ QB revealed he is entering his 18th year in golf. Further, Rodgers explains he is becoming a good putter and understands the fairway truly well. It must be valid since the golfing legend captioned their picture by calling Rodgers a great athlete.

As the American Century Championship is underway from 8 to 10 July, Rodgers is putting his putting skills on display. As is Annika, hoping to win another title by beating multiple Hall of Famers and MVPs.
