The Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins played what looked like a lifetime of football on Sunday. The two teams played each other in the wild-card round of the playoffs. While there is not a single defense in the NFL, that would find it easy to deal with the explosiveness of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. But the Bills and Josh Allen were clear favorites for this match-up with a Dolphins team without Tua Tagovailoa.
In what turned out to be an exciting game, the teams went back and forth with the leads. However, in the end, Allen and his offense got the job done with the defense coming big in the last phase of the game. The Bills won 34-31. In the end, it was a happy day for the Bills’ Mafia as their team advanced to the divisional round. On top of the victory, Buffalo fans had also taken a ‘w’ with Allen’s girlfriend’s head-turning outfit.

Sean McDermott will be preparing his boys for a showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals. Joe Burrow and his offense will be much more lethal than the Dolphins. While Allen turned the ball over thrice in the wild-card round, an opportunity like that for Burrow will prove much more painful.

The QB understands the dangers of his turnovers. “I mean, the turnovers, they hurt us,” Allen said. “Really let them back in the game. Up 17-0 with chances and I give them the ball two times and give them a touchdown — it’s just things you can’t do. And you can’t expect to win like that, so some stuff to clean up on that,” he added.
