The 2021 regular season isn’t going the way Mac Jones or Bill Belichick wanted it to go. The New England Patriots are down 1-2 after the Saints demolished them in their Week 3 clash.
And with that, Bill might have started to realize the kind of mistake he’s made after parting ways with Cam Newton. The Mac and Cam dilemma was one big concern for the Patriots who chose to go with the former. However, that choice is now showing its true colors after Mac Jones has failed to be as effective as he was expected to be.

In his first three games into the regular season, Mac has produced a totality of two touchdown passes with three interceptions. It was certainly not expected of a player who showed great potential and veteran-like qualities.
Bill, though disappointed, will look forward to improvising the rookie’s game. In the meantime, Jones will be starring and trending on Twitter every single Sunday for his performances, just like it did yesterday.

Mac Jones has to prove his worth now or never. He has made headlines for his superior skills over veteran quarterback Cam Newton, although after three games the statement seems to be questionable. However, the hype created after Mac Jones replaced Cam Newton from the Patriots QB spot seems to go in the opposite direction.

A big test coming up for Jones
Mac Jones, though a talented and young quarterback, has taken up the job to fill in Tom Brady’s shoes, which is not easy at all. And now the pressure has started to build up as he has failed to deliver at the start of the season.
However, the season has a long way to go, and he has a lot to prove during that time. Jones’ next clash with the Buccaneers will be the most anticipated watch of the season, as Tom Brady returns home. And it will be seen if Jones can survive in front of his dominating predecessor.
