Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers put together one of the best Super Bowl runs in 2020. The Bruce Arians-coached franchise defeated the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs by a comprehensive 9-31 scoreline earlier this month.
In doing so, they became the first team to win the Lombardi Trophy in front of home fans. Veteran quarterback Tom Brady won his 7th Championship ring.
He threw for 4,600+ yards with 40 passing touchdowns against 12 interceptions. Brady also threw 3 touchdowns in the Super Bowl LV game at the Raymond James Stadium.

NFL insider comments on Tom Brady and Drew Brees’ future retirement plans
While appearing on The Rich Eisen Show earlier this week, Adam Schefter went on to reveal that Brady was close to joining NFC South rivals New Orleans Saints in 2020.
But friend/foe Drew Brees decided against retirement, which forced Brady to move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He said, “If he hadn’t come back, I really believe that there’s a chance that Tom Brady would have been the Saints quarterback this year. And he would have been playing in New Orleans not yet but that’s a different story.
“And so he came back now what is going through his mind once he steps away? There are so many players that plan to retire, wanna retire, and then to actually get them to it’s not a simple thing.

“And so, I’m not telling you he is I still, I still think he will retire. But I don’t think these things are just black and white,” Schefter told Rich Eisen.
Just like Brady, even Brees confirmed that he will return for New Orleans in 2021. With Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill also present on the QB depth chart, coach Sean Payton will look to conjure together a Super Bowl push this season.
