The Dallas Cowboys are saddling up to shine in the new season of the league. Packing since winning Super Bowl XXX back in 1995, they are coming up with a restructuring of their roster to bolster their overall game on the field in hopes of another shot at the Super Bowl. In a big change to their defensive depth, they are moving their star outside linebacker Micah Parsons to the defensive end. And Parsons is putting in the effort to get comfortable in the new position he’ll be handling at the roster.
To help with the transition, he shared a post on social media showcasing the road he’s taking to get comfortable with the new responsibility. This led to Tyreek Hill getting competitive with Parsons on social media, leading to a shady comeback from the Cowboys star. But Parsons is not alone in preparing himself for his new defensive role. He is taking the help of an ex-Super Bowl champ to bring in the required abilities to play as a DE. So who is Micah Parsons partnering up with?

During a recent episode of the Rich Eisen winner, the Super Bowl LVI winner and former Rams tackle Andrew Whitworth opened up about how he was in Texas working out with Parsons. Whitworth said that he and Parsons kept in touch with each other for a couple of years now. He talked about how he shared feedback with Parsons even when he went against him while playing in the league. Whitworth stated that he went to train with the Cowboys players because Parsons reached out to him for help.
The ex-Super Bowl winner said, “He reached out to me in the offseason and said ‘man would you have any interest in coming down where I train and working with me?’ Further talking about the events, Whitworth said that he decided to go and train with Parsons because he wanted good practice with somebody who’s faced him as an elite opponent. And Parsons wanted feedback about the ways he could improve as a defensive end in the new season.
The Cowboys player even shared a Twitter post showing off his training with Andrew Whitworth and showing his appreciation for the former Rams OT accepting his invite. But Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill decide to throw some shade his way, prompting a tussle with Parsons on social media.

Tyreek Hill throws shade at Parsons’s post
When Micah Parsons uploaded the social media post with Whitworth thanking him for his time and training with him, Tyreek Hill decided to comment, leading to a very random argument between the two. Hill commented on the post, questioning whether the Cowboys player is now becoming a motivational speaker. Parsons threw shade on Hill’s fingers by saying, “yeah!keep up with them Twitter fingers only person will pay is Tua!!! I’ll see you on christmas eve!!There only going to be one grinch who stole christmas.” It may be noted that the Dolphins and the Cowboys are slated for a Christmas Eve showdown, meaning the two will be looking forward to facing each other in that game. As the argument continued, Parsons said that Hill is just ‘salty’ that the Chiefs are doing well without him. To this, the WR raised the white flag saying, “You win bro.”
It will be an interesting time for the Cowboys fans to see Parsons take up the defensive end role in 2023. Do you think he’ll adjust well to his new position? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
