It also reveals how a single individual acts in terms of preference, aptness, and even the ability to communicate. The said study reveals that 89% of singles believe they aren’t good at flirting, so they entirely opt out of chasing someone for the sake of a relationship. It also reveals that women are pickier than men when it comes to dating, as 75.2% of single men are reported to be picky, while 82.1% of women choose to stay out of approaching someone for the same cause. And wait till you hear about Americans choosing the single life, compared to other countries.

This data is highly accurate, as it’s taken from census and surveys of several countries, including the UN. This data dubs the US as the ‘Kingdom of Singles’ with almost half of their citizen embracing the solo journey. It’s reported that 126.9 million people from the US were unattached in 2022, as per the US Census Bureau. The combined data of the whole world also indicates about 2.12 billion people from the country are single. And it’s only increasing day by day.

While the study sheds light on the single aspects of several countries, it also approaches a rather uncomfortable area. It also shows data on how many US citizens die without a partner every year. It reveals a painful truth, by adding that the death of non-married Americans over the age of 25 has nearly doubled since 2019.

Then focus shifts to the demographic, showcasing how Black/African-Americans are with the highest single rate of 47%. Moreover, Hispanic and White/Caucasian are at 27% and 28% respectively.

The study concludes their detailed research with a few pointers on why people remain single, with some of them being insecurity, fear, sexuality, different priorities, and others. Whatever it may be for an individual to embrace the single life, it’s safe to say that they are not alone. Even the likes of Tom Brady, Gisele are walking the same path.
