They tied the knot after high school in the 90s. But they divorced in 2006, as Randi felt the fame of her MLB husband taking a toll on their relationship. Since then, she has raised Patrick Mahomes and her brother Jackson Mahomes as a single mother.

But unlike his Super Bowl-winning elder brother, Jackson Mahomes usually finds himself in troubled waters because of his antics. The social media influencer with over 1 million followers on TikTok recently found himself in the midst of serious allegations. While it’s uncertain what the future looks like for Jackson Mahomes, his mother shared a special message on social media as an homage to the difficult journey embarked on to date.

For Randi Mahomes, the past few weeks have been harsh. She lost her mother, Debbie Martin after a bout with illness in the hospital. And her mother’s death has had a big impact on Randi Mahomes’ life, as she and her mother were like best friends who raised the family together. Her mother’s death has left a huge void in the family. She even started a ‘GoFundMe’ Campaign in honor of her mother for providing a scholarship for the education of those in need. But even the campaign has not seen the success it should have. Amidst all of these, she recently shared a message on social media, which looks like her giving herself a pat on the back.

Randi Mahomes recently shared a post on her Instagram story. The post talks about how we should give ourselves more credit. It is because we pull ourselves out of our own slumps and downfall. The post states, “You’ve pulled yourself out of your darkest days. While trying to heal your heart. While raising kids. On your own.” It seems like the mother of the Chiefs QB resonates with the words on the post, as it talks about situations similar to the ones she faced in her own life.

While Randi Mahomes embarks on a journey of self-love, his second son, on the other hand, is facing seriously troubled times after a February incident that has now become a serious issue.

Jackson Mahomes faces troubled times ahead

The younger brother of Patrick Mahomes was charged with aggravated sexual battery after trying to allegedly kiss 40-year-old Aspen Vaughn, who is the owner of a restaurant in Overland Park. Not only this, he also reportedly assaulted a 19-year-old waiter at the restaurant. After carrying out an investigation, he was guilty of numerous charges on May 2. But just after 12 hours, he was out on a hefty $100,000 bond. Now, post his bail, he made a special request seeking permission to contact four friends who are also witnesses to the crime. 

With the preliminary hearing of the case set to take place next week, it will be a wait in anticipation to see the court’s judgment on the matter.
