It appears that before the start of the season, Tom Brady will once again take center stage and captivate the football world with his next move. In a recent episode of the Pat McAfee Show, it was disclosed that Brady and Mark Davis, the owner of the Raiders, are deeply engaged in discussions regarding a potential partnership venture. ESPN sources have also confirmed and validated the speculation, stating that the negotiations between the two parties have been ongoing for weeks. It is anticipated that important news regarding this matter will be announced to the fans shortly.
A.J. Hawk, Pat McAfee, and other co-hosts extensively discussed on the show why the billionaire owner of the Patriots, Robert Kraft, seems to overlook the opportunity to choose Brady as his partner. They shed light on this topic while also encouraging Kraft to contemplate it. Pat McAfee, the former kick-off specialist for the Indianapolis Colts, expressed, “But why doesn’t Robert Kraft just give him a piece of [the Patriots] and let bygones be bygones, and let’s move along.” He further added, “But why not welcome him back into the New England family? Why doesn’t Kraft give him 10, 15, 20 percent?”
In response, Hawk remarked, “Let?s say Tom put in a $100 Million, what?s he get?” Pat quickly retorted, “0.00.” Hawk added, “That?s the thing. Can I get some Sweat Equity here, man?” They further discussed that currently, the Patriots’ valuation stands at $6.4 billion, and they mentioned, “If he was to get one percent for 6.4 billion, I think this money would be made deal immediately?.?
However, even if Tom Brady and Davis reach an agreement, ESPN reports that a minimum of 24 team owners would need to discuss and approve his minority partnership. This is a standard procedure for both majority and minority partnership cases across teams in the league.
Will Brady?s Fox Deal get affected?
On the verge of his retirement, Brady had signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports to work as a sports commentator. However, after retiring, he took a year off to focus on his family and personal life. Recently, there was speculation surrounding this contract, as rumors circulated that Brady might cancel his deal with Fox Sports.

However, those rumors turned out to be unfounded, and Brady, along with the Fox Sports team, dismissed them. It is now expected that he will join the network for the 2024 season. Furthermore, even if Brady becomes a minority partner with the Raiders, his Fox Sports deal will remain unaffected. This partnership with the Raiders would mark Brady’s second collaboration with Davis, as he already holds a minority ownership stake in the Women’s NBA champion Las Vegas Aces, which is also owned by Davis.
