Amidst Kentucky Derby Embarrassment for Patrick Mahomes, “Sweet Lady in Red” Steals the Show From QB and Wife Brittany Mahomes

The golden son of the Kansas City Chiefs made his appearance during the Kentucky Derby. Brittany and Patrick Mahomes had come all dressed up and decked out to make their appearance at the Derby. The winning quarterback even had a brilliant role to fulfill in the Derby. However, Mahomes suffered a sad embarrassment because of some unfortunate television timings. However, the couple did make a very interesting appearance at the Derby that went viral on Instagram.

Brittany took to Instagram to post a picture of herself and her husband at the Derby. However, an interesting aspect of one of the photos caught the eye of all the fans. They took to the comments of  Brittany’s post to talk about the interesting visitor that was present in one of her pictures.

Mahomes obviously suffered some embarrassment when it came to the Kentucky Derby. Mahomes was supposed to deliver the ceremonial Riders Up at Derby. However, when he was supposed to deliver it, the local TV Network cut off to make an announcement about a tornado. This led to a lot of embarrassment for the quarterback. However, the highlight of the Derby for Mahomes was an interesting photobomb that came in one of Brittany’s posts. Through her Instagram, Brittnay showcased an interesting picture that had an old lady photobombing, dressed in all red.

The photobomb caught a lot of attention from the fans. It is not every day they see the picture of an NFL couple being photobombed by an old lady and it certainly brought some interesting comments from the fans.

Fans go crazy over the Mahomes’ photobombed picture

The photobomb of the old lady in their picture got a lot of traction from fans. They were very eager to take to the comments to talk about it. One fan spoke about how the old lady was doting over them and said, “Can we talk about the little old lady in the second pic just looking at you guys so sweet? Lol.”

Another fan mentioned how cute she looked in the picture and said, “Look at granny in the back posted up…so cute.”

There were some fans who found the old lady very adorable and said, “I wanna take home that little old lady in pic.”

Furthermore, there were some comments from fans laughing at the old lady seizing some fame: “The little old lady in the back! She seized the opportunity.”

Finally, one fan commented on the couple’s appearance but the overwhelming attention the old lady commanded. It said, “You guys look fabulous, but that sweet lady in red is killing it.”

All in all, the fans were very amused to see the photobomb that came with Brittany’s post that had her and Mahomes in it. While Mahomes faced some embarrassment at the beginning of the derby, his appearance with his wife and the old lady made up for it.
