With Tom Brady out of the picture, all eyes are now on 4x NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and his future in the league. The Jets look like a more real scenario at the moment. More than Aaron’s Green Bay Packers. And A-Rod is getting the extra nudging from some very talented New York players.

Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson and All-Pro Pro-Bowler cornerback rookie Sauce Gardner have been relentless in their pursuit of the legendary King in the North. Wilson is not even being subtle at this point. And Sauce has already expressed his interest in Aaron Rodgers numerous times.

Aaron Rodgers will make a decision about his next destination in the league in a few weeks. However, Jets fans are getting off their chair too soon after a now-expired cryptic Instagram story from Gang Green rookie wideout Garrett Wilson.

A-Rod has worn the green and yellow since being drafted by the Packers in 2006. However, the chances of the 2011 Super Bowl MVP dropping the yellow to only keep the green look realistic. The story showed an animated Aaron Rodgers dawning the Jets green on top of an arcade. “Issa sign,” Wilson captioned the IG story.

The NY Jets trade possibility is higher now, after Woody Johnson’s franchise brought in A-Rod’s former Packers OC and recently sacked Broncos HC, Nathaniel Hackett. Rodgers won two consecutive MVPs during his time with Hackett, and will definitely think twice before turning down the chance of a reunion. Especially with Aaron in for another MVP season, according to his own words.

Sauce Gardner is also in the mix, but he has some competition

Hackett’s addition is only an extra reason for Rodgers to consider the Jets. With Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams’ formidable defense, coupled with Breece Halls and a skilled group of position players in the offense, the Jets only need Rodgers to become legitimate contenders in the AFC. And Sauce knows that.

Gardner tweeted at A-Rod, before eventually deleting it. “Aye Aaron Rodgers? Nevermind, I forgot what I was about to say,” Sauce tweeted.

Furthermore, this is not the first time Sauce has expressed his interest in the Packers QB. In a recent telephonic conversation with ESPN Radio’s Fitz & Harry, the CB said, “He’s definitely great. He’s definitely elite. I wouldn’t mind that [Aaron to Jets]. I want what’s best for the offense.”

However, Sauce is new to the game. And it might get difficult for him because Rodgers’ old connections are also interested in a reunion. Davante Adams is without a QB after Derek Carr’s Raider episode ended. In response to a question on Twitter on where Rodgers is moving next, Adams said that the answer is his neighbourhood, hinting a Raiders move for A-Rod.

Aaron Rodgers has already discarded a move to the 49ers. So the Jets and the Raiders remain as the leading contenders to land the QB.
