Raiders receiver Davante Adams had a terrible start to Week 5. The star receiver shoved a photographer on his way back to the locker room. However, the 29-year-old had some positive news from his former college team, who retired his #15 jersey.

In a tribute gesture, Fresno State has retired the jersey before the game against San Jose State. He has a distinct record with 3,031 receiving yards, 233 catches, and 38 touchdowns. Adams last played at the University in 2013. This was in his two seasons as a bulldog.

Adams is apologetic about the shoving incident

The star talent had a tiresome game against the Chiefs. Talking about the angry outburst, Adams said he wanted to say sorry, and explained the incident happened because of the frustration mixed with him running in front of him. “I shouldn’t have responded that way, but that’s how I initially responded. So, I want to apologize to him for that,” he said. However, the WR could face a potential jail term if the investigation finds him guilty of the charges which are leveled against him. The Kansas City police are investigating the incident.
