Deion Sanders has dominated news headlines over the last few weeks. The Colorado Buffaloes HC and NFL Hall of Famer has dealt with his foot issues for decades. Just last year, Coach Prime underwent a major surgery for his foot which saw him run the risk of losing a limb, and even his life in the process. 

Fortunately, the repercussions would be much less, as Sanders would get away with his limb, life and eight toes intact. But recent developments have brought upon a harsh reality check for Sanders after reports of his ailing foot injury flaring up once again. Ahead of one of the most challenging years as an NFL coach, Sanders received a heartfelt message from his longtime partner. 

Deion Sanders receives emotional message from his Girlfriend

A couple of days ago, Deion Sanders shared a heartbreaking update with his fans through his Instagram account. Over a year after a major surgery to salvage his foot, Coach Prime once again faces a shattering reality check about his flaring foot injury. Sanders’ medical team informed him that the Coach might have to amputate his entire left foot.

As Sanders continues to deal with his medical situation, his girlfriend of 11 years turned up to support her 55-year-old partner in his battle. Tracy Edmonds has been in a relationship with Sanders since 2012. She penned a heartfelt comment under his IG post. 

“I’m ALWAYS praying for you and seeking information on alternative options. Please remember your health comes before everything! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️”

Edmonds, a businesswoman herself, showed her support to her longtime partner as Sanders fights his difficult battle ahead of one of his most challenging seasons as HC. 

The coaching challenge ahead for Coach Prime

While our thoughts and prayers remain on the success of Sanders’ medical battle, and his recovery, it is also important to note that the coach is also slated to enter his first season as the HC of the Colorado Buffaloes. Following their abysmal 1-11 season last year, the Buffaloes hired Sanders to redeem their crumbling college football program for a major price tag of over $29 Million. 

As the team also announced their massive decision to part ways with the Pac 12 ahead of next season, Coach Prime and the Buffaloes have a major task at hand as they enter a shifting CFB landscape. The season is bound to be a major challenge with high expectations from Sanders. But as he works towards his recovery and regaining full health, we can’t help but give our two cents on what could be, the most important coaching season for Deion Sanders.
