Aaron Rodgers’ life after losing the chance to advance to the playoffs has been full of vague details. After a poor season, many expect the former Super Bowl-winning quarterback to change his team. Therefore, many linked him with several teams. One such is the New York Jets who finished at 7-10 this season as they lost their last game against the Dolphins. From the beginning, the team had problems with their starting QB, Zach Wilson.
Aaron Rodgers urged Wilson to practice a crucial value despite his trade rumors
The back-to-back MVP award winner has expressed his displeasure with the Packers this season. He criticized the players who made mental blunders and asked for their exit from the team. Similarly, the 23-year-old starting QB of the Jets lost the trust of his teammates and started collecting their remorse towards him. Hence, the team is looking to replace the former Brigham Young University QB.

Now, A-Rod is rumored to be heavily involved with the Jets as a potential new QB. And since the veteran QB would want to join a squad that is only a shot-caller away from winning the Super Bowl trophy, anything is possible. But despite the rumors, the 39-year-old addressed Wilson.
As per New York Post, although Rodgers is reputed to take away Wilson’s job, he had some words of encouragement for him. He said, “I met him before the draft and then they came and practiced against us in the preseason… I think he’s super-talented.”

He continued, “I think a little humility is good for all of us at various times in our careers…For him it’s just gonna be leaning into humility and consistently working on the fundamentals. … I hope that whoever they decide to go with at coordinator can come in and work with him and break down a lot of the fundamentals for him and get him playing on time. Because I think he’s talented enough to have a long career in the league.”
Does his message to Wilson seem like he will push for NY?
These are certainly not the words of somebody who intends to come in and steal Wilson’s job. In fact, Rodgers can put the no-trade clause in effect should he not desire to sign with a certain team.

For now, the QB’s future stays in the dark. He can also bring a knock-out effect to the Bears if Green Bay decided to trade him.
