The Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is among the few signal-callers in the league to enter the fifth and final year of their rookie contract. Thus, a contract extension or a trade is imminent once the upcoming season gets over. While for Jackson, the gateway is clear and he will probably continue with the Ravens for a few more years. However, he always kept his mum when asked about contract extensions. Although he had clarified to keep it private and seemed uninterested, the Louisville alumnus recently changed profile pictures on his social media handles, brewing more theories for the fans to speculate.

On Friday, Lamar Jackson changed his Instagram profile picture and Twitter banner picture to an inscription minted onto a stone-like structure that reads, ” I NEED $”. To some extent, these words might be hinting at the QB’s frustrations, who has no agents to negotiate for him.

There is no doubt about the fact that the 25-year-old Jackson is one of the best QBs on the current list of active players. Even though he had to wind up last season on a sour note, he is still capable of making a lot of money if he gets into free agency or is released by the Ravens.
However, he seemed unbothered when players like Deshaun Watson were bagging hefty deals. He managed to keep his calm and explained that he wanted to focus on the game. Jackson wished to negotiate only after the 2022 season.

Even though he gained more muscle mass, the QB claims that he hasn’t lost his blaze and speed.
