The NFL postseason has finally kicked off. The wildcard round is already 2 games done and dusted. While the Jacksonville Jaguars staged an astonishing comeback over the Los Angeles Chargers, with a score of 31-30. On the other hand, the San Francisco 49ers took on the Seattle Seahawks. This was a much more one-sided affair with Brock Purdy on this run of form.
Amidst all this excitement, the NFL also nailed their playoff coverage with the NFL GameDay Morning. The star-studded panel of analysts consisted of many popular names like Michael Irvin, Kurt Warner, Emmanuel Sanders, Rich Eisen, and many more. However, the star of the lot was former Niners and Detroit Lions HC, Steve Mariucci, who donned a spiderman costume through the show.
Spiderman costume distracts the NFL world before the Brock Purdy show

This edition of the NFL broadcast was themed after superheroes. Not only the players who will be playing in the games but also the analysts in the studio were in costumes. Mariucci was in a friendly neighborhood spiderman costume. The stunt pulled a lot of attention to the show. The fun cast of members entertained the viewers. Among them was the NFL icon and former Indianapolis Colts player, Pat McAfee. The star shared a few snaps of Mariucci on his Twitter, expressing his amusement.

Purdy announces himself
This year’s last NFL draft pick, Brock Purdy, has been nothing short of dependable as starting QB. After losing both Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo to injuries, The Niners had no other option than to start Mr. Irrelevant in games. Surprisingly, the young QB fared well in all the games he played. But people expected things to get tougher in the playoffs with the added pressure. However, the Red and Golden ran the show in the first game of the postseason with a 41-23 win.

Purdy did not look like someone who was nervous at all. Kyle Shanahan’s system seems to be suiting the player well, and he has taken the role of the facilitator. While he controls the game well by letting the team run the ball. He also showed his passing skills today. The 23-year-old threw for 332 yards and 3 touchdowns without a single interception. Proving once and for all that he is quite a relevant option for the team going forward.
