American Musician Narrates Beautiful Interaction Between His Son and Raiders QB Derek Carr: “Last Night, My Son Saw Jesus In a New Way”

In recent times, American Christian musician Cory Asbury recalls his meetup of his kid with Las Vegas QB, Derek Carr. In a Facebook post, he shares a lengthy post about their recent meetup with the quarterback.

He mentions, “Last night, my son saw Jesus in a new way… I had the privilege of leading worship yesterday in the company of about 10,000 men, one of them being NFL quarterback, Derek Carr. If you know my son, Gabriel, at all, you know he’s one of the biggest football fans in the world. Needless to say, he was EXTREMELY pumped when I told him he might get the chance to meet Mr. Carr.”

Asbury also reveals that he leaned over and asked Derek if his son, Gabriel, could take a picture with him before he departed. “Anything for that kid!” he responded, with a cheerful face. As the meeting came to a close, Gabriel and he discovered Derek had left. While Cory emphasizes to his son, he receives a text message a few minutes later. “Derek wanted me to let you know he’s on his way back to the venue. Gotta get that pic for Gabriel!” He also shares a picture of his son alongside the quarterback.
