Losing a loved one can never be easy. YouTuber and comedian DC Young Fly couldn’t have had it any worse. The social media personality lost his longtime partner and mother of his three children, Jacky Oh, this week. And his heartbreaking eulogy on Instagram moved everyone, ranging from his comedy fans to NFL superstars like Odell Beckham Jr., who shared a special relationship with DC Young and Jacky Oh.

‘Wild ‘N Out’ star Jacky Oh, born Jacklyn Smith, passed away last week due to unknown circumstances in Miami while undergoing what the initial reports called a ‘mommy makeover’. This week DC Young Fly addressed the matter and asked for privacy in this time of distress. OBJ and the rest poured in with their prayers and condolences.

DC Young Fly and Jacky Oh met on the sets of ‘Wild ‘N Out’ in 2015, giving birth to a long and wholesome relationship, where the couple shared three children together, daughters Nova and Nala, and the youngest addition last year, son Prince. The 32-year-old former MTV star’s untimely death shocked everyone in the Young Fly fan fraternity. The rapper was actually shooting a new episode of WNO in Atlanta when he received the earth-shattering news of his partner’s demise. He shared a gut-wrenching post on Instagram this week, applauding her presence in his life, both as a partner and as a mother.

I wanted it to be a dream so bad, but every hour I’m reminded of reality, so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner,” Young wrote. “You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW. The QUEEN of my children will always have a spot in my heart and the paradise.

I do a lot. But being a mommy is my favorite,” Jacky Oh recently captioned her Mother’s Day IG post. Jacky Oh was also an entrepreneur and recently launched her own lip-gloss line called J Nova Collection. In addition to that, Jacky also regularly hosted her fans on her YouTube channel with over 600,000 subscribers, where she chronicled her daily life with DC Young Fly and their three kids.

The reaction to Young Fly’s post was understandably overwhelming. “God bless man! Sending so much love and prayer your way,” stand-up comedian Kevin Hart replied. The 2023 NFL Draft sensation and Houston Texans recruit CJ Stroud also responded with a blue heart emoji.

OBJ, who shared a special relationship with Jacky Oh through a mutual connection via his partner, Lauren Wood, shared the tragic news on his Instagram story with the message, “Rest Easy Angel.” The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver also left a white dove emoji reply on DC Young Fly’s post.

Every day is a gift. Tomorrow is never promised,” OBJ tweeted after the saddening news.

The Super Bowl LVI champion, who missed an entire year of action because of a gruesome ACL tear, shared a follow-up tweet doubling down on the importance of gratitude. “Don’t take this life for granted. We’re here for the blink of an eye. Y’all please love on your loved ones while they’re still here,” Odell Beckham Jr. tweeted.
