If you are part of either the Green Bay Packers or the New York Jets, then Aaron Rodgers is all you get asked about. With both the Packers and Rodgers having made peace with them going separate ways, the Jets seem to be eagerly waiting for A-Rod’s arrival. Despite people questioning the legitimacy of Rodgers joining the Jets, the GM Joe Douglas seems pretty confident of it happening. However, Allen Lazard seems to be frustrated with all the questions related to the QB.

In addition to the front office and Jets fans being excited, several Jets players are also looking forward to sharing a locker room with Rodgers. However, one of Rodgers’ future Jets teammates has gotten quite fed up with the constant questions.

Allen Lazard and Aaron Rodgers have known each other for quite a while now. The former Packers teammates are all set to be reunited in New York once again. However, there are still doubts about Rodgers actually committing to the New York Jets. The Jets GM, Joe Douglas was also asked about the same during his recent appearance at the WFAN Sports Radio event.

And with the utmost of convictions, Douglas replied, “He’s gonna be here”.

Funnily enough, Allen Lazard has been keeping a close eye on the developments and commented in all caps, “SO STOP ASKING ME

Earlier, Lazard posted pictures of  Rodgers and him running at what looks like a high school football field, with the caption “Always smokin past this dude.”

The Jets and the Packers are still haggling with each other, trying to get the best possible deal. But that hasn’t stopped Rodgers from working out with his potential future teammates. Lazard was acquired by the Jets for a four-year, $44 million contract from the Green Bay Packers.

In addition to Lazard, the Jets also have their eyes set on a couple of Rodgers’ Packers teammates, hoping to lure him in with familiar faces.

During his meeting with the New York Jets top brass, Rodgers bragged about a number of his Packers teammates. Although the names of those players have not been revealed, the Jets clearing up the Packers’ roster leaves little to the imagination.

It is safe to assume that along with Joe Douglas, Nathaniel Hackett (former Packers offensive coordinator) has been the biggest orchestrator in pulling off these masterstrokes, and hopefully getting Rodgers to New York.
