Is Mike Evans leaving the Bucs?

The contract saga between Mike Evans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has reached a deadlock, signaling that the 2023 season is likely to be his last in a Bucs jersey. Evans, the cornerstone of the Buccaneers’ offense, is in the final year of his five-year, $82 million deal signed back in 2018. Despite turning 30 just a short while ago, Evans and his representatives have made little progress in negotiations for a new contract, aspiring to secure terms similar to Rams receiver Cooper Kupp’s lucrative three-year, $80.1 million deal.
