Responding to a critic on Twitter, AJ Brown lashed out in his defense after being called a villain. The former Tennessee Titans wide receiver made a bold claim while replying to the critic’s tweet. Even though Brown has been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for the next season, the receiver jumped to respond to this rant about him.

He said, “For the love of god, I was the best receiver to play for your franchise. Shut up and move on. You mad at the wrong person.” Even though fans jumped to react to Brown’s claim, some NFL aficionados continued to defend the wide receiver.

In the three seasons Brown played for the Titans, he scored 24 touchdowns, 2995 yards, and finished with 185 receives. Based on these stats, AJ claimed to be the best wide receiver to play for the Titans.

Recently, Brown posted on Twitter when he learned a new fact about reading weather forecasts. Reacting to this, a fan tweeted, “For the love of God, just stay off of social media. You’re already a villain. No need to make it a “stupid villain.”

Brown has frequently been credited to be the best receiver in Titans‘ history, but his flat-out stating this to shut down a critic provoked reactions otherwise. Reacting to the response, the fan who ranted on AJ tweeted this.

The Eagles’ WR also received some harsh comments on his tweet.

AJ Brown had previously angered his fans when he canceled his youth football camp in Tennessee ahead of the trade to the Eagles. Fans lashed out at him for leaving the Titans. However, a user had something positive to say about him amidst all the backlash.

Brown’s involvement in the controversy surrounding his contract with the Titans sparked many rumors and reactions on social media. Even though he chose to switch to the Eagles in the NFL 2022 season as a wide receiver, fans felt he betrayed his former team. Brown thought otherwise and is set to begin his stint with the Eagles and make a case for him.
