Dwayne Haskins, quarterback for the Steelers, met with a tragic accident last year, succumbing to his injury. His family, along with the whole NFL world, was saddened by the outcome. In a turn of events, newer information was released to the public last month. Dwayne’s family filed a lawsuit stating that he was drugged, blackmailed, and robbed before the accident. Later he was struck by a dump truck while walking on a South Florida Highway. 24-year-old Haskins had a promising future in the NFL prior to the accident.
Philadelphia Eagles‘ wide receiver suffered a similar fate just yesterday. While participating in a charity bike ride, he met with a near-death accident. The collision sent his phone flying, horrifying the fans.

The Eagles WR was on an Instagram live, while riding his bike for the charity event, held by the Eagles every year. Wide receiver A.J. Brown was talking with his live audience, telling them how easy it is to ride a bicycle, just before getting in the accident. The small video posted on Twitter ended with his phone flying from his bicycle to the ground and someone yelling an inaudible noise. The vehicle approached from the left to hit his bicycle.
The video was posted on Twitter and circulated very quickly, leaving the fans very anxious. After 30 minutes of the video being posted, Brown posted on Twitter that he was perfectly fine. He also added the driver that hit him ran a stop sign and hit his bicycle. Brown dropped his phone but got out of the way of the car. He barely avoided the accident that could have had extreme impacts on his career.

After the incident, more videos were posted online following the accident. He can be seen picking up his phone after a few seconds and exhaling a sigh of relief. The video does not have enough details to understand how the accident happened. Later, a user on Twitter tweeted that the guy that actually caused the accident tried blaming Brown even though he is the one who ran a stop sign. The wide receiver is fine and ready to dominate the upcoming season.

Brown is still disappointed in the loss against the Chiefs in the championship game. He had a great season last year, but to him, it is not enough. This accident is nothing but a hiccup in his off-season training. He broke Mike Quick’s record for receiving yards in a single season in 2022. He aspires to do more this season and use last season’s lesson as the fuel for this one.
