In the year 2020, after almost 50 years, the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl. Tyreek Hill was one of the most valuable players on the team. He recorded 105 receiving yards with an average of 11.7, winning the Super Bowl LIV. And sure enough, he had his career-high 111 catches in the next season. Despite all the achievements with the team, the Chiefs opted to trade Hill with the Miami Dolphins. The Chiefs couldn’t negotiate Hill’s contract extension, hence the trade in 2022.

The Dolphins signed Hill with a whopping 120 million dollars for a four-year period. He is still the most-paid athlete in terms of a non-quarterback player in the history of the NFL. He has performed exceptionally well for the team after the shocking transfer. But his retirement plans shook the NFL world.
