A-Rod and the Packers’ struggle this season can be attributed to one key factor. The lack of a dependable first-choice wide receiver. After Davante Adams left for the Las Vegas Raider, his void was getting difficult to fill. Until rookie Christian Watson showed up and dazzled opposition defenses.

WR Christian Watson had the game-winning touchdown for the Green Bay Packers when he ran for 46 yards to the end zone and celebrated in flying fashion. Watson also had a receiving touchdown from a carefully manoeuvred Aaron Rodgers pocket pass. However, it was the second TD picture that some fans thought was art.
Aaron Rodgers could have used Watson’s form a tad earlier in the season
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers improved to 5-8 for the season while the Chicago Bears were officially eliminated from the playoff race in the 28-19 Green Bay win. However, the reigning back-to-back league MVP found his choice of the receiver in Watson a little too late. Christian Watson really showed up in the game against the Dallas Cowboys this season. And since then, the 23-year-old has been on a roll.
I just want to point out all the people who:
1) Thought a rookie would never do something with Rodgers
2) Thought Watson was a bust for 2022 because he wasn't playing well to start year (because of injury)
3) Forgot or didn't notice Watson missed various time in camp/season— Seth Schroeder (@sethschroeder) December 6, 2022

The iconic picture at Chicago’s Soldier Stadium showed Aaron Rodgers pointing to Christian Watson flying to the end zone while the background showed a mixture of emotions from the Packers and Bears fans. And Wisconsin fans may just frame this image on their walls for the foreseeable future.

Aaron Rodgers once said that he owned the Bears. On Sunday A-Rod showed some love and respect to the Chicago crowd and gave them a sportsman’s salute. However, that didn’t make the Bears fans feel any better.
