The New Orleans Saints have a big target on their backs for Week 4. It is a big game as they would compete in front of an international audience. But the franchise’s QB1, Jameis Winston, is missing out on the team reps and training. However, new updates may suggest that the franchise may deck up without Winston in the lead. New Orleans may have the Red Rifle in the slinging zone.

The UK fans eager to see Jameis Winston on the turf may not have their wish fulfilled. The QB1 is having back issues that went through the first three games. However, the Saints have kept a Maestro backup to make any necessary changes. Multiple sources have reported that in Winston’s absence, Andy Dalton is taking up the team reps.

The NFL Rumors on Twitter also reported that Andy Dalton trended after Winston and Thomas missed practice. Even Saints’ OC Pete Carmichael believes the Red Rifle can do the task and is confident in him. However, the offensive coordinator had no update on the QB1 and his injuries.

The New Orleans Saints will take on the Minnesota Vikings in the 2022 NFL International series. They will clash at the Northumberland Development Project (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium) in London, U.K.

Jameis Winston has big plans for Week 4

Jameis Winston may miss out on the team reps. However, as per ESPN, the QB1 still intends to start Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Winston said the team kept him out of a session on Wednesday at the London Irish Facility, but he will be there on Thursday. The QB mentioned, “That’s my plan,” when asked about starting the London game.

If Winston cannot play in Sunday’s game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Dalton would make his first start for New Orleans. Following Dak Prescott’s ankle injury, the backup QB started nine plays for the Cowboys in 2020. He led them to a fair record, 4-5.
