After Sunday’s game against the Falcons, NFL giant Tom Brady most likely lost one of his most ardent fans. The Buccaneers’ Week 5 game at the Raymond James Stadium witnessed a great deal of drama on the turf. One of which just cost Brady a whooping $11,000 fine.

Smith considers the sack that robbed the Falcons of a genuine chance to win to be disgusting. The ‘First Take’ co-host also stated that he is completely ‘ashamed’ of Tom Brady for handling the situation against Grady Jarrett the way he did.
‘Roughing the passer’ penalty helped the Bucs halt their losing streak at two games. According to ESPN’s popular analyst Stephen Smith, Brady’s competitive mentality was ‘unfair’ during the game.

Atlanta Falcons defensive end Grady Jarrett sacked Brady in the fourth quarter. But, the questionable whistle flagged Jarret for roughing the passer, giving the Bucs a new set of downs to celebrate their victory over the Falcons.
While discussing the controversial call made by the head referee, Jerome Boger, Smith also expressed his displeasure with Brady’s behavior after being sacked on the ground.

The penalty was “disgusting”, he said. And “one of the most egregious calls I’ve ever seen”.

Smith, true to his reputation, spoke openly on Monday about his thoughts on his longtime NFL idol- “….I’m pretty damn ashamed of Tom Brady, too. Tom Brady looked at the ref and was looking for a call. ‘Where’s the call?’ I know, win at all costs.”
“What are you looking at the referee for? You’re Tom Brady, you’re a seven-time champion. You know what kind of things you’ve endured throughout these years in the league. What the hell are you looking at the official to make a call on that play?” Smith clearly had an ‘anti-fan’ moment on Sunday.

Brady’s aggressiveness with his legs is nothing new. The former Patriots quarterback had previously kicked his Ravens‘ opponent, for which he was fined $10,000. While Brady does not throw fags, he can certainly throw his legs to his opponents on the turf- As he did twice on Sunday at the Raymond James!
