Featured on NBC Sports Boston’s Next Pats Podcast’, the TE stated that Jones would require a veteran wide receiver.

Gronk believes that a solid addition to the team could propel Jones’ career. He said, “Mac Jones is going to need some help. I believe he’s going to need a wide receiver like a DeAndre Hopkins to come in. A very savvy, veteran wide receiver. On top of that, they’re going to need a first-round pick wide receiver, or a second- or third-rounder as well to help him out and get him to Pro Bowl status.” But, is name-dropping the talented Cardinals WR who has been in the news because of trade speculation a mere coincidence, or is something afoot?
