Ever since his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, Tom Brady has been numero uno on the list of bachelors in the celebrity world. With big names like Aaron Rodgers and Leonardo DiCaprio amongst some of the most famous single bachelors, Brady has often topped the list with his exquisite dating history and rumored beaus. But even the greats have to deal with rejection and failure, as Brady recently learned.
After garnering interest from top stars like Kim Kardashian and Reese Witherspoon, amongst others, Brady was subjected to a crumbling reality check when Grammy Award winning singer, Kelly Clarkson, shot down any chances of dating the football star. Just days after refuting the heartthrob of the football world, Clarkson is back at it, sending out another disappointing message to NFL fans across the globe.

Kelly Clarkson is certainly one of the modern legends of the music industry. Her vocal talents have ascended Clarkson to a rare breed of success that very few artists in the music industry have achieved. So it would seem like a major opportunity for the singer to star in one of the most legendary music shows across the world. But Clarkson seems to feel differently, as she has turned down any opportunities for her to headline Super Bowl LVIII in 2024.

Just days after turning down any chances of dating Tom Brady, the singer has decided to take her name out of consideration to perform at one of the biggest musical events across the globe. The Super Bowl has seen some of the greatest artists of all time, like Michael Jackson, Shakira and Prince, among others, performing at its iconic halftime show. So given Clarkson’s past of dabbling in the sports world, it seems especially odd for her to turn down this opportunity.

Clarkson’s previous rodeos with the sports world
While some might think that Clarkson may have turned down the offer as she isn’t interested in performing at sports events, her past would suggest otherwise. A potential performance at the Super Bowl wouldn’t be her first rodeo in the NFL, let alone the sports industry.
In 2011, Clarkson performed the National Anthem at the NBA Finals. Just a year later, she would find herself performing in front of more than a hundred million fans at Super Bowl XLVI, as she performed the National Anthem before Maddona’s iconic Halftime Show. In fact, Clarkson hosted the NFL Honors Awards show just this year at Super Bowl LVII. Given that the singer has never been shy to show up at the biggest stage in all of sports, it seems odd for her to renounce any intentions of starring in next year’s Super Bowl.
