Kelce has been subjected to a lot of friendly teasing about the recent situation, both from fans and professionals alike.

Kelce has been rumored to be dating Taylor Swift, the biggest musical artist of this generation. Neither Kelce nor Swift made any claims to their alleged under-the-cover relationship. The reports started surfacing during the month of July when the Super Bowl winner attended the singer’s concert. Additionally, it was rumored that he approached Swift at the concert but no official confirmations were released until Travis’s friends started teasing him about the same – Here’s the scoop.

Travis Kelce shot and missed his shot

During an episode of the ‘New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce’ podcast that’s hosted by Jason and Travis Kelce, it was revealed that Travis had been interested in Taylor Swift. Furthermore, he tried to talk to her backstage, but as it turned out, Swift doesn’t talk to anyone before her concerts in an effort to save her voice for the performance. This meant that Travis couldn’t get an opportunity to talk to the 33-year-old singer. He said, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings so I was a little butt hurt.”

An anonymous source confirmed that the pair aren’t dating, as the rumors suggest. It comes as a shock after weeks of speculation about their romance by both of the figures’ fanbases. Though the TE wasn’t able to succeed in his mission of wooing Swift, he won’t be too hurt and will be able to accept the truth of it all.

Kelce gets teased about the recent alleged romance

During the Chiefs’ match against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday, commentator Rich Eisen would not stop making references to Taylor Swift songs whenever Kelce would appear on the screen. He said, “You saw it on Thursday night when Travis Kelece wasn’t in there, it left a blank space.” Additionally, he made another reference to a song when he said, “Alright there are the Chiefs- Travis coming out, August is over..now September.”

Humorously enough, Travis later responded to Eisen’s post himself by commenting. “Well played Rich….Well played👏😂 .” His response clarifies the sort of emotional impact the rumors have had. The TE seems to be taking the teasing right on his chin and doesn’t seem too upset about the missed opportunity.
