Following the triumphant victory, Coach Prime took to his Twitter account, now known as ‘X,’ to share a heartwarming picture with his son, accompanied by a message celebrating Shedeur’s remarkable record and Prime’s debut. In response, Werder retweeted the post, acknowledging that Saturday marked a pivotal day in Sanders’ life, both as a coach and a father. He congratulated the former NFL star and expressed how mesmerizing the showdown had been to witness.

Notably, Travis Hunter, another transfer from Sanders’ former college, Jackson State, delivered an outstanding performance by excelling in both offense and defense, boasting 11 catches and a crucial interception.

The excitement in the college football scene continues to mount, with Sanders’ victory signaling just the beginning. Sanders stayed committed to his goal, even during a challenging surgery for a blood clot in his groin. He still constantly showed up to the practices, a testament to his commitments. What began as a surgery has transformed into a remarkable rescue mission, propelling the team to great heights. Upcoming matches against Nebraska on September 9th and CO State on the 17th have fans eagerly anticipating more captivating moments in this unfolding story.
