After parting ways with the veteran shot caller, there is a huge hole in the Seahawks’ offense. At the moment, they do not have a starting quarterback. And to fill that hole, the franchise is looking at some interesting options. The Seahawks have shown interest in signing the controversial Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are not interested in Deshaun Watson

The Texans quarterback asked for a trade from Houston a little while ago. But nothing came of it at the time. This offseason, however, things seem different. Deshaun Watson will not remain with the Texans for the 2022 NFL season.

Houston has paid the quarterback $10.54 million last season just to sit and do nothing. Watson has a base salary of $35 million and a $40.4 million cap hit for 2022. The Texans are not going to entertain him for much longer.

While the offseason trades are going wild in the League at the moment, not many have come to enquire for the quarterback. The Broncos and Commander have already picked their QBs for the next season. Miami is not interested in Watson. But even the quarterback-hungry franchise, Pittsburgh Steelers “ARE NOT” in the market for Deshaun Watson as well. Many speculated that this is where the Texans’ QB might end up. So where will the Georgia native call shots next season?
