Tom Brady has many things going for him in his life. For a considerable chunk of his life, he has been the most winning quarterback in the NFL. With brilliant accolades and an amassed 7 Lombardi trophies, he has cemented his position as one of the greatest to play ever. However, like every great player, Brady’s time on the field has come to an end. After retiring at 45, Brady had made his priorities clear. He has spoken about how he wants to spend more time with his family and friends and on a recent momentous occasion he proved his love for his family. He also seemed like he was declaring who his one true successor might be on the field.

On the occasion of Father’s Day, Brady appeared to be filled with gratitude. He took to Instagram to speak about his achievements of being a father as well as putting out an ode to his own father. While sharing his thoughts, he also spoke about his children and what he might be able to pass on to them. Interestingly, there is a high chance Brady might be able to pass on his most valuable skill to one of his children.

As Brady’s retirement has become a reality, everyone has wondered when the world of football will see the next generational quarterback. However, it might be possible that we won’t have to wait too long. While taking to Instagram and celebrating Father’s Day, Brady also seemed to be signaling toward his own son’s football talent. In the spirit of Father’s Day, Brady mentioned how being a father to his children is the best thing in his life.

Furthermore, he also mentioned how he is grateful for the opportunity to pass down a lot of his own learnings to his children. Interestingly, this might refer to him passing down his brilliant ability to play football. While sharing adorable pictures of all his children, he chose a picture of Jack playing football.

Additionally, the QB has been very open about wanting to be there for his son through his football journey. Previously, the NFL GOAT has spoken about wanting to mentor his son when it comes to the sport of football.

Is Brady entering his Coach Carter era?

While he himself has been amazing at playing football, it seems like Brady might be ready to cheer and guide from the sidelines. In the past he had spoken about wanting to be there for his son as a guiding influence whether he decides on football or not. The QB has mentioned multiple times that he does not expect any of his children to follow in his footsteps. Rather, Brady made it clear that he would support his children no matter what their passions. Thereofr,e Brady was shocked that his son was so interested in playing football.

Furthermore, he also spoke about his fondness for his son’s athletic endeavors. He said, “I love watching him play quarterback because I think there’s very few things in life that I could probably help him with. I don’t have a lot of specialties in life other than probably throwing the football. He’s way smarter. He’s got a great work ethic. He’s just a great kid. But I can definitely help him at quarterback.” All in all, the ex-QB seems to be ready to help his son with an area of his own expertise.

While Brady himself has stopped playing after more than two decades of playing the sport, he might just be ready for his next chapter.
