The NFL brothers Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce have made their presence known in the league. The brothers battled it out at the Super Bowl LVII, which came to be recognized as the Kelce Bowl, with younger brother Travis Kelce emerging victorious with the Kansas City Chiefs. While they both might be on different teams in the NFL, younger brother Travis Kelce has always followed the footsteps of Jason, as he joined him at the University of Cincinnati for college football. Even when Travis Kelce’s football career was almost cut short after a failed drug test in college, big brother Jason was there to guide him through the difficult time in life.
But football is not the only activity that the Kelce brothers share together. Last year, they took another big step in terms of a career, which led to the Chiefs 2x Super Bowl-winning HC worrying about a certain area for the older Kelce.

During a recent episode of the New Heights podcast, the Kelce brothers invited Chiefs HC Andy Reid on the show. When the Philadelphia Eagles center asked Reid about his thoughts when they decided to start a podcast in the middle of the season, the Chiefs HC said that his only worry was the Eagles center retiring from the NFL.
Reid said, “I knew with you heading it up, we’d be okay. My only worry was that you were going to retire. You’re going to get so good at this, that you’re gonna retire, and then I didn’t think it was so good.” But Reid further went on to say that even if Jason Kelce decides to retire, he’s “got a good gig going on here.”

While football might be the first rodeo for the Kelce brothers, the New Heights podcast itself is becoming more and more popular by the day.
The start of the Kelce brothers’ podcast journey
Last season, despite their busy NFL schedule, both Jason and Travis Kelce decided to go on to pursue another hobby of theirs. In September 2022, during the middle of the season, the Kelce brothers started the New Heights podcast despite their tight-packed NFL careers. They recorded episodes weekly, with each episode lasting between 60-90 minutes. On the podcast, they discuss games, trending NFL news, and sports headliners. The Kelce brothers have gone on to bring some of the biggest football stars to the show, including former TE Rob Gronkowski, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes to name a few.
