William Perry took to his Twitter account to share the news of Collins by writing, “BREAKING: The #Bengals released RT La’El Collins, who was on the PUP list. NFL.” However, to fill the Collins spot, the Bengals signed Pro Bowl tackle Orlando Brown Jr. to take forward the OT position.

However, Joe Burrow became the highest-paid NFL player. And with a promising contract, the Bengals have surged hopes with their quarterback. But the hopes were shattered in the very first game itself.

The Bengals started their season with a loss
Just before the start of the 2023 regular season, Burrow signed a $275 million five-year contract extension with the Bengals. However, In the first game against the Browns, Burrow fell short of living up to the expectations, where he scored just 82 yards.
