It hasn’t been long since the exodus followed Deion Sanders’ arrival at the Colorado Buffaloes. First, he took over, then he dedicated his time to straightening the roster, implementing new rules, and putting the bad apples on the transfer portal. This complete restructuring took the team’s fan base by storm, raising the high demand to witness the final turnaround.

Coach Prime on the other hand only got out of recovery a few days ago, after a week-long battle with severe health complications. Amidst his return, he could not help but share a remarkable peak, achieved by the team he took over only a few months ago.

All these changes definitely didn’t go in vain. The once-forgotten team has now become a ruthless contender, and the departed fans are also making a return to the arena. Only a month ago, the team sold out 11273 tickets on a single day, smashing the team’s highest record in history by miles. It was also reported that the team completely sold out its season ticket allotment in mere days.

Although these are known facts, Coach Prime raised the bar with his newest revelation about said ticket sales. He posted a story on his Instagram, indicating that the first batch of tickets for the team was sold out in the span of only one hour. The ticket count for the said batch is a whopping 9000 units, only emphasizing Sanders’ influence.

The last time CU sold such remarkable tickets was back in 1996 when the team was a part of not the Pac-12 but the Big-12. Over two decades later, Colorado Buffaloes breathe fresh air once again, all thanks to Coach Prime.

Coach Prime is the catalyst the Buffaloes needed

These remarkable feats weren’t accomplished in one night. Prime’s influence is also no joke. Soon after his famous speech on the campus, the ruthless coach went straight ahead to the personal areas of the students and prohibited them from using any sort of musical equipment on the campus, to straighten their habits. Even during his medical emergency, Sanders showed up to work every day, fulfilling his responsibilities.

There were also several moves made by the team after his arrival which made a significant difference in the roster. The home ground also met with a complete uplift. Furthermore, highly coveted athletes showcased interest, with some of them actually transferring to the CU, only strengthening the roster more and more. Despite severe criticism, Sanders remained steadfast in his decisions to implement changes, and he did exactly that. The upcoming season will definitely be entertaining as Pac-12 now has a serious contender. It will certainly be interesting to witness the showdowns mere months away.
