Since his arrival, Tom Brady has been the talk of Tampa Bay. But, for the first 20 years, he was just a lost gentleman. Moving from Boston to a new city was not easy. Brady was still figuring out his way around the Bay. Unknowingly, the QB provided a Tampa Bay resident with the experience of a lifetime when he walked into his home.

Back in 2021, Tampa Bay resident David Kramer spoke to FOX 13 and recalled the moments that took place at his home. Kramer thought he had an intruder coming in. But to his surprise, it was Tom Brady who showed up. He was looking for offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich’s house next door.

He recalls, “I was just hanging out in the kitchen, and I was on my computer and I see the doorknob turning and I was like, I remember sitting I just like froze was like, ‘Oh, my God, Man, somebody’s coming in the house!’ See this guy walk in, and he just like he’s like, good-looking guy. I do this on purpose because that’s exactly what happened. He walks in doing God’s baseball hat. He’s got like two duffel bags. And he just kind of like he doesn’t even say hi first. He just kind of goes like this, and you set them down just like looks up at me, and he’s like, ‘What’s up, man?'”

Further, David also mentions, “I wasn’t scared because he looked so nice.”

Kramer will remember it for the rest of his life. He had lived in the area for 14 years and witnessed nothing like what had happened that day. This encounter gave him one hell of a bar story.

In 2020, Tom Brady was new to Florida and was unaware of the area’s rules. During a Facebook live discussion with St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman, Tampa Mayor Jane Castor said that a park employee once noticed a person doing his workouts in a downtown park. When the employee showed up to explain the park was closing, she recognized it was Tom Brady.

Later, Brady received a Twitter post from the City of Tampa’s official Twitter handle informing him that while the neighborhood is ambitious to welcome him, he should stay at home to lend a hand in leveling the COVID-19 spike. Even Tom Brady left a funny tweet after the situation got traction in the media.
