Antonio Brown has played for four different clubs during his NFL career. He had time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, and finally the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sports fans celebrate his darting runs and agile movements with fondness.

Despite being one of the NFL’s most well-known receivers, Brown had to discontinue his football career following the dramatic on-field meltdown while still with the Buccaneers. However, the journey after the NFL career is not that stale for AB. He seems to grab eyeballs as a musician, too.

The unanticipated event that ended Antonio Brown’s NFL career

The most challenging aspect of Antonio Brown’s football career was his clash with Bruce Arians. Brown made headlines earlier this year after removing his pads, helmet, and undershirt during a game against the Jets. He exited the field in the middle of the game. Later on, Brown accused the Buccaneers of pressuring him to perform despite his injury.

The Bucs’ released Antonio Brown the next day. In a news conference on Brown’s contract termination, Tom Brady stated, “We all love him, we care about him deeply, we wanna see him be at his best. Unfortunately, it won’t be with our team.”

Concerns rose regarding his mental health after his contract with the Buccaneers ended. However, he dismissed it by stating “I never had a issue or problem. I don’t take pills. I just got a high IQ,” he said.

Antonio Brown has unveiled his new avatar in the post-NFL period

Antonio Brown committed himself entirely to music after leaving sports. The former wide receiver has been in several popular performances as a rapper and musician. In addition to that, Brown appears to have received positive feedback from fans in this new character as well. CBS Sports recently tweeted a question.

They invited their fans to vote for the musician they’d want to see perform at the next year’s Super Bowl halftime. Brown retweeted the post. His usage of the ‘two fingers touching’ emoji got the fans alerted. His message clarified he does, in fact, want to return to the NFL. If not as a receiver, then certainly as a performer!

However, following his memorable ‘stripping drama’ on the field, NFL fans have expressed varied feelings about this matter. Some ridiculed his singing ability. Meanwhile, some others reminded him of his irresponsible attitude.

Some fans feel he is looking for one more chance to play the ball. Yet, many others believe that the NFL community should allow him a second (or, in his case, fifth!) chance, whether as a performer or a musician.
