NFL Player documentaries are in vogue given the early success of Peyton Manning’s streaming television documentary series, ‘Quarterbacks’, which aired on Netflix. Season 1 featured NFL stars such as Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota, and it was recently announced that Netflix has given the green light for a second season of the series. ROOK, on similar lines, is a video series presented by 7-Eleven that features the Dallas Cowboys’ rookies. The series provides an insight into the lives of the rookies, their journey to the NFL, and their experiences with the Dallas Cowboys.

Luke Schoonmaker played a pivotal role in Michigan’s 2022 offense as a versatile tight end amassing over 50 snaps in six consecutive games. Unfortunately, the 6-foot-6, 250-pounder sustained an upper-body injury in Week 10 against Rutgers, forcing him to sit out the following two games. Summer injuries, on the other hand, disrupted his freshman-year progress and may have contributed to him falling behind in the competition for the top tight end spot, which is currently led by Jake Ferguson.

Luke Schoonmaker is an undeniable asset

There is a certain flare about the young tight end’s play that has attracted favorable comments from many, including his own teammates and head coach. McCarthy, head coach for Dallas Cowboys said. “Missed a lot of time early and he’s done a nice job with his opportunities. Football comes natural to him. You can tell he’s high in his awareness, but good to see him get into the flow of the offense.”
