The Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes had an eventful week as he became a father for the second time. Notably, on Monday, his wife Brittany Mahomes gave birth to a baby boy, Lavon, also known as ‘Bronze’. During the press conference on Wednesday, Mahomes looked really happy.
After the big life event, Mahomes has now shifted his focus on Sunday’s games against the Cincinnati Bengals. Recently, he posted a video on social media, where he looked ready to play some football again.

Mahomes took to Instagram and posted a video of himself getting off a plane after landing in Cincinnati. In the video, he was wearing a dark suit with black sunglasses as he looked ready to face the Bengals.

Mahomes has shown immense professionalism, as he turned up for practices and the game against the Bengals even in such a life-changing moment.

In a recent press conference, Mahomes said, “It’s awesome to bring in a son and to add to my family… Everything went great, everything went smooth and Brittany’s a champ, so it’s been really cool.”
Notably, Mahomes already has a daughter named Sterling Skye, 21 months old. In February 2021, Brittany gave birth to Sterling, just a few months after their engagement in 2020.
Earlier this year in March, Both Patrick and Brittany tied the knot and a few months later they announced the news of their second baby. The Mahomes family is having a wonderful year both off and on the field.

How ready is Mahomes to face the Bengals statistically?
Speaking about on-field performances, he is currently having an MVP-level season. In 11 games so far this season, he already has 29 touchdowns after throwing 3585 yards. Apart from that, he also recorded a rushing touchdown as well.
Last Sunday against the Rams, he did not have the greatest of games. Despite that, the Chiefs won the game. Now, Mahomes is looking to improve his performance against the Bengals, who are currently on a three-match winning streak. As they are eying for a spot in the playoffs, it will not be an easy game for the Chiefs.
