Since his controversial departure from the Buccaneers, Antonio Brown‘s career and reputation have spiraled downward.  AB continues to grab the spotlight with outlandish claims and broken promises, consistently disappointing fans week after week. Furthermore, he consistently finds himself embroiled in controversies as he fearlessly exchanges jabs with athletes from various sporting domains. And his most recent target was none other than his former teammate, Tom Brady.

The 7x Pro Bowl recently appeared on Tyreek Hill’s podcast ‘It Needed To Be Said,’ where he did not hold back while blaming TB12 for his famous walk-off from the field, which eventually led to his departure from the league. During the interview, AB asserted that it was Brady who persuaded him to continue playing despite being injured. However, merely a week after casting aspersions on his former teammate, Brown appears to be poised to tread a similar path to that of TB12.

It has only been a year since TB12’s record-breaking deal with FOX that promised to make him the top-paid sports analyst following retirement. This $375 million deal became the subject of intense discussion as it surpassed the earnings of lead analysts. Brady then went on to reveal how sports media giant ESPN had also reached out to him with a similar deal. Although he refused the said deal, his former teammate might have other plans.

Brown recently took to Twitter, to announce his partnership with ESPN. The sports media giant has been doing some restructuring in the company for the last few months. Several hosts were let go and numerous shows were canceled. Despite these changes, ESPN undoubtedly has strategic plans for future NFL coverage. Antonio Brown has the potential to fill the gap by bringing his distinctive perspective to the table.

Despite Antonio Brown’s announcement, there have been no official confirmations from the media giant. And he is certainly known for spreading false promises. Therefore, it didn’t take long for the NFL world to rip on him after the announcement.
