When it comes to R&B, the wife of the Denver Broncos quarterback, Russell Wilson, Ciara is a crowd favorite. Her popularity is justified, as she has always captivated the hearts of her audience with her toe-tapping songs. Recently, Ciara announced that she and Russell Wilson will be welcoming a new member to the family. Right on the heels of this heart-warming news, the 37-year-old singer has managed to achieve a new milestone in her career.
Earlier in August, the $30 million worth Ciara released a new single How We Roll in collaboration with $50 million worth Chris Brown. Currently, the enigmatic single is occupying the top place in Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart. Earlier, the song was placed at No. 4 on the list but jumped to No. 1 this week. This is the second time the R&B star has ranked first on the chart. How We Roll is the second time Ciara has topped the R&B Digital Song Sales chart, and she did the same back in 2018 with her superhit single Level Up. Ciara’s Forever is also on the list at No. 10 currently. In addition to being No. 1 on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart, How We Roll has advanced to No. 5 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales chart. On the same chart, her other song Forever made a debut at No. 21 on the list. Ciara wishes to set the tone for her upcoming music adventures with these hit releases.

In an exclusive interview with Rated R&B, Ciara said, “This project is the start of really exciting things to come, but most importantly, I want my fans to know that the Ci Ci they have always loved is in her R&B bag.” This is her first collaboration with Chris Brown since they made Turntables together in 2009. In the interview with Rated R&B, Ciara said, “It was so much fun working with Breezy because we have been wanting to work together for some time. We are so proud of what we made together and most importantly the growth we have had as artists.” Ciara’s professional life is not the only thing budding right now, as there has been joyful news in her personal life as well.
Recently, Ciara and Russell Wilson announced that their personal team is going to grow. The Broncos player and the singer are expecting their third baby together. The announcement was made through a video posted on Instagram, which was shot while the couple was on an anniversary trip to Japan. Ciara and Russell Wilson currently share two kids, their 3-year-old son Win, and their 6-year-old daughter Sienna Princess. These new developments will hopefully give Russell Wilson the push he needs to forget a less-than-perfect last season and perform to the best of his capabilities going into this new season.

Will Russell Wilson clutch a comeback?
Safe to say, Russell Wilson did not have a great 2022 season. By week 4 of the 2022 season, Russell Wilson had started to face numerous obstacles in the form of injuries. A throwing shoulder injury was followed by a hamstring tear, concussion, and knee strain. With the injuries serious enough to require surgery, there is no doubt that Russell Wilson was facing a mountain of problems on the field. Despite the criticism he faced from the NFL community, Wilson somehow pushed through the 2022 season, missing only two games despite the gruesome mishaps.
Come the 2023 season, a lot of things have changed. To start with, the Broncos have improved their roster to include more experienced players around their quarterback. This move will hopefully catapult Russell Wilson to be at the center of the biggest comeback of the year. With his injuries in the past, though still casting a shadow on his present, all Russell Wilson fans are waiting with bated breath to watch him unfurl his wings as he sets the field on fire. Hopefully, both Wilson and Ciara will have a better football experience in 2023.
