The New York Jets defeated the Buffalo Bills 22-16 in the home opener. However, what defeated the Jets was the unfortunate visuals of Aaron Rodgers being carted off the field early. Yesterday, the injured QB appeared on his Instagram, and he wrote a thank-you message to every person who had reached out, called, texted, DM’d, and connected. Along with that message, he announced the thing all of America had been waiting for.
In his post, Rodgers hinted at his comeback and asked for prayers as he began the healing process. Media houses were also shocked by Rodgers suffering an Achilles tear. On a recent episode of UNDISPUTED, Skip Bayless and 57YO Pro Football HOF-er discussed the chances of Rodgers coming back to the turf.

Skip Bayless and Michael Irvin had the opportunity to assess the validity of Rodgers’ IG post and discuss whether he would indeed return to play for the Jets. Bayless asked, Michael Irvin, what percentage chance does he give it that Aaron Rodgers will play again next season? Former wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, Irvin, as a football player with emotions and confidence, replied to Bayless, “When I get this out of Aaron Rodgers, I got, I come back. I read 120 percent. He will be on that field next year with that team.” 57-year-old Pro Football Hall of Famer is absolutely sure that Aaron Rodgers will come back to play, and he’s 120% convinced of it.
With true heart, Irvin also later stated that it was so fascinating “to watch hard-knock stuff [about Rodgers’ image], and this ever-loving love affair with Aaron Rodgers, as we represented him, we represented him.”
Just keep note, for Jets lovers, Rodgers also wrote in the same post, “I’ll try and get back to all of you soon,” with a tearful emoji.
