In his 22nd season, Brady is about to break the record of being on the receiving end of most sacks. At 553, he is just one short of equalling Roethlisberger’s 554.
A Record to miss for Tom Brady:
Brady, in his ‘Let’s Go! podcast, very sportingly said, “I would like to thank my lack of speed and agility to enable me to knock on the door of this very esteemed NFL record.” The GOAT also went on to say how he hoped he could get on with it and reduce the number of times he gets sacked in the second half of the season.

He concluded by joking with Jim Gray again by saying, “I’m just trying to diversify the portfolio.”
Jim Gray mistook Ben Roethlisberger for Brett Favre in the Podcast. While Brady has left Brett Favre behind in this category, he is just a couple of sacks short of his famous Steelers counterpart. Though it is not a record to be proud of for a QB, Brady has taken almost 100 more games than Roethlisberger to reach this feat. This is just another reminder of why the Bucs’ shot caller is considered the greatest of all time.

For the first time in two decades, Tom Brady finds himself with a record below 50%. The Buccaneers took on the disheveled Panthers on October 23rd. Carolina missed their first and second-string quarterbacks, Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold, through injury. With a third-string quarterback starting and an interim coach in charge, this fixture was just what the Florida-based outfit needed to change its fortune.
However, with a poor showing from their star quarterback, the Bucs weren’t able to capitalize. Third-string QB P.J. Walker, outperformed Brady as he threw two touchdowns for the Panthers to go on to win the game 21-3.
