Adidas Athlete Patrick Mahomes Does Nike Bad Upon Wearing KC Royals Jersey for Big Kansas City Event

Patrick Mahomes has been the face of Adidas since the QB took over the world of football with his stunning play. As part of the Three Stripes family, Mahomes has rocked the world with his elite merchandise, especially his latest Signature shoe release. And, it seems he is showing the level of loyalty that the legend of basketball showed to his brand, once. 

While Drake may prefer ‘checks over stripes’, Mahomes is definitely not a subscriber to that ideology. The superstar Chiefs QB has been signed to Adidas ever since he went pro back in 2017, completing 6 years with the German franchise. But being a member of the Three Stripes family is a serious matter for Mahomes, as he revealed by concealing any Nike affiliation in his latest public appearance.

Mahomes made a grand appearance at the city’s big celebrity softball game when he participated earlier this week in the Big Slick Softball game. Appearing at the celebrity game ahead of the Kansas City Royals game against the White Sox, Patrick Mahomes reminded fans of his baseball roots with his electrifying performance at the game. But as fans focused on the game, Mahomes hid a massive message with his Royals Jersey.

Mahomes covered up the Nike logo on his Royals jersey by having it stitched over. Every other participant at the Celebrity game, meanwhile, proudly repped the bold check of Nike. But Mahomes made sure he did not give out any free publicity to Adidas’ largest competitor. The two companies have been rivals ever since their big entrance into the American sports market. So it was understandable to see the face of Adidas go to great lengths to conceal any connections to Nike. 

Adidas and Mahomes continue to cook up the next collaboration

Mahomes and Adidas have big things coming up, as the demand for the next collaboration between the two rises with each passing day. Especially considering the rising global fame of Patrick Mahomes following his second Super Bowl victory this year, demand for the next product in the athlete’s signature line is high. 

Not long ago did Adidas and Mahomes announce the release of the first signature shoe by Adidas for any football player, the Adidas Mahomes 1 Impact. The shoe has been a resounding success, but fans desperately await more. But fear not; Mahomes and the design team for Adidas have been busy in the lab, preparing to launch the next edition of the star players signature shoe line. Patrick Mahomes and Adidas certainly look like they’re ready to take over the football world.
