The RTD alcoholic beverage market has scaled recently, and it is expected to grow even further from $378 billion to $479 billion in the next five years. Among that, Margaritas remain the top-selling cocktail in the U.S.. Steinfeld noticed the gap that the canned versions on the market are made with malt liquor instead of real tequila. And that’s where she hit her shot; she is offering a true tequila-based cocktail, something that is not taken care of by even major brands like White Claw and High Noon. In the RTD business, celebrity-associated labels help brands gain popularity. George Clooney’s Casamigos sold for $1 billion, while Kylie Jenner, Snoop Dogg, and Jennifer Lopez are all in the RTD industry with their products. Steinfeld’s Instagram follower count is over 20 million, which might be an excellent avenue to market and sell her product.
